Video | Visiting Riverside Training Centre during lockdown

Following the announcement of new stricter measures, we want you to be sure that you're in safe hands when visiting our Riverside Training centre.

From extra cleaning to promoting social distancing, we've made the changes needed to keep us all safe.

Read our handy guide here or watch our video below!

Some of our biggest changes include:

Personal hygiene:
We've installed hand sanitising stations all over the centre - especially in our busier areas.

When visiting us, we ask that you clean and sanitise your hands as often as possible to help us lower the spread of the virus.

Reducing the number of people in our centre:
We're reducing the number of staff and learners allowed in the centre at any one time.

We have also restricted class sizes to five to make it easier for everyone to socially distance.

Using our toilets:
To help us keep our centre clean and well-stocked, we've decided to only use two of our restrooms.

This way, there's fewer locations to deep clean and we'll find it easier to keep track of our movements around the centre.

Cleaning our centre:
Speaking of cleaning, we've introduced a new cleaning routine within our building.

From carrying out extra cleaning duties throughout the day to deep cleaning the centre and classrooms at least twice daily, we're committed to providing a safe environment for our people and learners.

Virtual learning:
Where possible, we will be offering our courses virtually so you can learn from the comfort of your own home.

If you have any worries about taking part in an online lesson, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team who will be happy to support you.

Face coverings:
In line with the recent changes to government guidelines, we're asking that anyone visiting the centre wears a face covering.

This can be a mask, scarf, visor or any other item that fully covers both your nose and mouth. You do not need to wear a mask if medically exempt, although you may be asked to show evidence of your exemption.

Track and Trace:
We've joined the new NHS track and trace scheme to help us keep track of the spread of the virus.

Be sure to scan the QR code on arrival every time you visit us. The app is available on most smartphones including Android and iOS devices.

For more information on our safety measures, get in touch with Riverside Training by calling 01427 677 277 or emailing us at enquiries@riverside-training.org.uk
