Our new ‘More than bricks’ report argues that many social housing tenants are struggling to find the help they need and social housing providers are best placed to provide such support.

Youngsters to learn about loan shark dangers

Young people in Gainsborough are set to learn about the danger of loan sharks this October half term.

Graffiti and drama workshops are being organised by ourselves and in partnership with Street Style Surgery and Stop Loan Sharks.

The free workshops that will take place at the Gainsborough Uphill Community Centre on Riseholme Road will seefor young people aged between 12 to 16. take part in free activities designed to raise awareness of the dangers of loan sharks.

The days for the activities are:

o          Monday 23 October 2pm to 4pm – Graffiti workshop

o          Tuesday 24 October 1pm to 4pm – Drama workshop

o          Wednesday 25 October 1pm to 4pm – Drama workshop

o          Thursday 26 October 1pm to 4pm – Drama workshop

There will also be a special evening performance on Friday 27 October to showcase the work done by the young people who have taken part.

Unfortunately, there are Only 20 people spaces at can attend each activity workshop and places are likely to fill up quickly. so you may have to be quick and sign up before places go.
