Principles of safeguarding

Are you wanting to work with children, vulnerable adults or the elderly? If so, you will need to understand safeguarding.

In this course you will learn what safeguarding is, how to know when safeguarding has  been breached, and how to safeguard children, adults, vulnerable adults and the elderly.

This course will also explore ways you can safeguard yourself. You will receive an overview of the safeguarding procedures and be able to understand the different types of abuse.

By the end of this course, you will be able to recognise unfair treatment and signs of abuse.
