When John* fell on hard times, our team at Riverside Training stepped up to give him the helping hand he needed.
Currently on our Restart programme, John was sofa surfing and struggling to find a way out.
However, having linked in with his Employment Coach, Louise, John was signposted to Housing and Tenancy Support (HATS) in Gainsborough for further support.
From there he found a home to move into to take that first step forward.
During this time, John took the opportunity to also improve his mood by attending our Find Happiness in Yourself course, run in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council.
On completing the course, tutor Louise said: “John engaged really well with the course and even stayed after the end of the session to finish the work!
“I’m happy we could help him get back on his feet”
