Jobseekers in Gainsborough have taken part in a new speed recruitment-style event to try and match up to their perfect employer.
The ‘Job Zumba’ event took place in April with jobseekers converging on West Lindsey Leisure Centre in Gainsborough to talk to potential employers about upcoming vacancies.
Organised and hosted by Riverside Training in partnership with Jobs22, the event saw local employers like Red Recruitment, SureStaff, CRT Care, Libertas, Acis Group and LEW Electrical all attend to talk about the skills needed to find work locally.
Partner organisations Bearded Fisherman, Shine Lincolnshire, Gainsborough Trinity Foundation were also in attendance to help provide support and guidance for people looking for work.
CVs were taken from all candidates and many were able to apply for jobs there and then.
Experts from Riverside Training and Jobs22 were also on hand to support people in their quest to find suitable, sustainable work.
