CLIP (Community Learning in Partnership) and Riverside Training are thrilled to announce that they will be hosting a FREE Pizza Party on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. The event will take place at thier centres in Mabelthorpe, Market Rasen and Gainsborough, promising a day filled with fun, games, and of course, delicious FREE pizza for everyone who joins in the activities. This event supports National Numeracy Day, a day dedicated to exploring numbers and their role in our daily lives.

CLIP and Riverside Training support the local community with their learning and well-being journey. Offering a friendly and accessible hub for learning. "Talking about numbers makes them a little less scary. You often find out you're not alone, and it's a great first step towards improving numeracy too," added Donna Smith Wellbeing Hub coordinator at Mablethorpe.

The Pizza Party will offer engaging activities aimed at making numeracy fun and approachable. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about weighing out ingredients, understand fractions through cutting pizzas, and participate in various interactive games throughout the event.

Becky Shaw, Experience and Engagement Officer at CLIP, expressed her excitement about the upcoming event, stating, "We're thrilled to host this exciting Pizza Party for National Numeracy Day. Numbers are something we all encounter in our daily lives, and this event is a fantastic way to celebrate their importance while having fun!"
