No previous knowledge or experience is required. This course is suitable for individuals who are seeking employment, looking to improve their employability skills, or wishing to build confidence in applications and interviews. No initial assessment is required. 

All learning materials and resources will be provided by the centre. Learners do not need to bring any additional materials

The course will be delivered in a classroom-based setting using a combination of tutor-led presentations, group discussions, practical activities, individual tasks, and employability-focused exercises. Learners will have opportunities to practise CV writing, application completion, job searching, and interview skills. 

Learners will be asked to complete a personal learning record and provide weekly feedback throughout the course. 

The tutor will provide regular feedback through informal discussions, observation of activities, practical tasks, and reviews of completed work, including CVs, job applications, and interview activities. 

Learners may be encouraged to research employers, job vacancies, career pathways, and industry requirements in their own time. They may also choose to continue developing their CV and applications outside of class. 

Learners should be prepared to participate in discussions, practical employability activities, and interview practice sessions. Access to an email account may be beneficial for job search activities, although support will be provided where required.
