Managing Anxiety

Anxiety can affect us all, in different ways and in different situations. 

In this course we’ll look at how anxiety can affect our thoughts, actions and behaviours. And we’ll explore how we can manage our anxiety through self-care, action plans and coping strategies. 

You’ll finish this course more confident in your ability to manage your anxiety. 

Entry requirements:

No prior knowledge needed, starting from basics.  

No initial assessment needed. Tasks for all levels, learners to be supported by tutor if needed. 

Teaching method:

Classroom based, face to face, both practical and theory based.  

Practical tasks include meditation and journalling, plus other tasks 

Theory involves information giving and discussions 

How is your progress checked:

Learners will be asked to complete a personal learning record and weekly feedback during their course.   

The tutor will offer regular feedback through informal and formal methods. 

Is there any extra study required at home:

No extra study needed. No prior knowledge needed. 

 

Will just need to enrol online/in person.  

 

All equipment/ worksheets provided.
