We’re thrilled to announce that Acis Group has been shortlisted for the Culture and Wellbeing Award at the Housing Innovation Awards 2026, taking place on Wednesday 4 February at The ICC, Birmingham.
This recognition celebrates our commitment to creating a workplace where people feel safe, supported and able to thrive. At Acis, our values — honest, positive and ambitious — guide everything we do, and wellbeing is at the heart of our culture.
Over the past 18 months, we’ve taken bold steps to embed wellbeing into everyday life, including:
- Training 44 Mental Health First Aiders, exceeding the national target of 10% of employees.
- Launching initiatives like men’s mental health groups, menopause support, and monthly coffee mornings.
- Creating a Wellness Hive and introducing flexible hybrid working across nine offices.
- Offering paid volunteering days to strengthen community connections.
These efforts have made a real impact. In the past year, mental health-related absence has fallen by 36%, and engagement in our Investors in People survey remains strong as we work towards Gold accreditation in 2027.
We’re proud to be recognised for building a culture that prioritises trust, flexibility and care — and we’ll continue to put our people first.
