The Campa Connect project has finished its journey after 15 months of bringing people together, boosting wellbeing and connecting communities to vital services across Mablethorpe, Withern and Theddlethorpe.
Campa Connect was delivered as part of a series of programmes offered by Clip, designed to create opportunities and strengthen community connections.
Clip is part of Acis Group – committed to supporting people when they need us, by providing safe, comfortable homes and a range of services that help people to thrive.
Clip received a grant of £157,321 to deliver Campa Connect. Since its launch in 2024, the funding has made a real difference by enabling Clip to:
- Hire a double-decker bus to showcase skills development and career pathway opportunities available to residents in an innovative, fun, and engaging way.
- Launch the hugely popular Campa Bonanza, a custom-converted campa van, that has travelled to the area’s most isolated communities to engage over 1,800 people with our mission, through events, workshops and outreach.
- Build a strong network of 40 new partner organisations.
- Host Home Energy Advice sessions, helping households save money
- Offer wellbeing activities like drumming workshops, reducing isolation and boosting mental health
These achievements have made Campa Connect a trusted part of the community, creating opportunities and connections that will last well beyond the project.
What’s next?
Although Campa Connect is ending, support for local people will continue through Clip’s various programmes of support, including its Thrive Amplify programme. The team at Thrive Amplify has a number of provisions in place to ensure a range of services and opportunities are available for residents and stakeholders.
