Nearly 70 jobs or taster days with potential employers were offered to around 100 people who attended a special summer Careers Fair organised by Acis Group.
As well as job opportunities, three people enrolled on training courses and 13 people were referred to support services to help them get back into work.
The event brought together 25 exhibitors from across employment, training and support services at the careers event in the Riverside Room in Bridge Street, Gainsborough on 25th June.
Jo Marsh, Engagement and Business Support Coach at Acis, said: "The turnout was amazing considering the heat and the fact that we helped nearly 70 people find work or be offered taster days with employers was sensational.
"Our careers fair events are vital dates in our calendar where we can reach people who need a little support to get into work or training and, along with our partners and employers, it has really delivered yet again for local people."
The fair featured a broad mix of organisations, including 13 employers and apprenticeship providers, five training providers, and seven service providers, giving attendees access to everything from live vacancies and apprenticeships to careers advice and specialist support.
Key partners at the event included Job Centre Plus and West Lindsey District Council and it was an opportunity for employers and providers to join forces and forge new relationships.
Organisers are now looking to further enhance the event in future with sector-specific careers fairs, particularly for industries such as care.
Jo added: "The success of the event reflects our wider commitment to helping people access employment, training and support within their communities.
"We already have further careers fairs planned, including an upcoming event in Gainsborough, and we'd love to involve even more employers in future.
“Every conversation and referral helps us reach more people and create more opportunities.”
