Abbey Access Training, a high performing Lincolshire-wide charity, has officially joined Acis Group.

The transfer builds on Acis Group’s established education, skills and training provision, strengthening its existing offer – currently delivered by Clip, Riverside and Skills Centre Plus - and expanding its reach to support even more communities throughout Lincolnshire.

Abbey Access Training has a track record of delivering quality skills training in hospitality and construction, as well as providing an excellent wellbeing support service throughout the county.

Joining Acis means it will become part of a wider network of providers, creating opportunities to share expertise, enhance delivery and broaden the support available to learners.

For learners, it will be business as usual, with no changes to courses or day-to-day delivery.

Both organisations are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and are excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring.

Claire Woodward, Director of Community Investment at Acis Group, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Abbey Access to the Acis family. In recent years, we’ve grown more and more into the education, skills and training arena where we have been supporting local people to unlock their potential and change their lives.

“This transfer means we can do even more in a larger area to have a positive impact on communities and I’m genuinely excited to welcome our Abbey Access Training colleagues to the Group.”

Gail Dunn, Chief Executive of Abbey Access, said: “We’re really pleased to be joining Acis Group and becoming part of a wider organisation with such strong experience in education, skills and training. Abbey Access Training has always been focused on helping people gain the skills and confidence to move forward in their lives, and being part of Acis will enable us to build on that work.

“It gives us access to a broader network, shared expertise and additional support, which will help us to strengthen what we already do. This is a positive step for our organisation, our team and our learners, and I’m looking forward to what we can achieve together as part of Acis Group.”
