Acis Group has partnered with supply chain partner LEW Electrical to breathe new life into the entrance of one of its housing schemes in Market Rasen.
Volunteers from Acis and LEW cracked open paints and brushes to revamp the entrance to the King Street property for residents and visitors.
It is part of Acis Group's ongoing commitment to delivering social value and creating positive outcomes in local communities.
Kim Laslett, Acis Group's Supply Chain Manager, co-ordinated the project. She said: "We are incredibly grateful to LEW for their generosity and support in helping us breathe new life into the entrance at King Street. The transformation has made a real difference to the people who live there, and we look forward to delivering more social value in collaboration with our supply chain partners in the future”
The project was identified by the Neighbourhoods Team at Acis, who recognised the entrance would benefit from a fresh lick of paint to create a more welcoming and attractive environment.
Kim coordinated the initiative and secured the support of Gainsborough-based LEW Electrical. The company generously volunteered both its time and the materials needed to bring the project to life.
Adam Doran, Branch Manager at LEW Electrical, alongside Marianna Osvaldo and Sam Maclennon joined forces with Acis Group's Kim, Nathan Jackson, Charlotte Anderson and James Bargh to transform the entrance.
LEW Electrical donated all materials required for the project, including paint, brushes, rollers, wire brushes, sandpaper, white spirit, protective clothing and gloves, as well as providing the labour needed to complete the work.
Adam at LEW Electrical Gainsborough, Ryan at RSG and all the teams at Crown and Brewers donated all materials required for the project, including paint, brushes, rollers, wire brushes, sandpaper, white spirit, protective clothing and gloves, as well as providing the labour needed to complete the work.
Adam said: “At LEW Electrical, we're proud to support Acis Group and the positive impact they have within local communities.
“Supporting social value projects is something we're passionate about, as we believe businesses have an important role to play in giving back and helping communities thrive. It's fantastic to work alongside partners who share our values, and we're delighted to contribute our time, resources and expertise to projects that leave a lasting legacy.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership with Acis Group and supporting future initiatives that make a real difference.”
Acis Group’s Social Value initiatives not only benefit its housing schemes but also look to make a positive difference in the public areas of the communities it serves.
Recent projects have included restoring Market Rasen’s bandstand, repainting community benches and enhancing public spaces with new planters, helping to create greener, more welcoming environments for local residents.
Acis Group is actively seeking opportunities across Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire where it can add value and help strengthen local communities through meaningful social impact projects.
