More than bricks - research report - out now

Social housing providers should take a lead in delivering support packages to help people overcome barriers in their lives, according to our new report.

Our new ‘More than bricks’ report argues that many social housing tenants are struggling to find the help they need and social housing providers are best placed to provide such support.

Woodthorpe and Lower Manor estate gets an early spring clean

Big tidy team

Our team in Sheffield went out during the freezing temperatures of January to tackle rubbish on the estates on Woodthorpe and Lower Manor.

We went onto the streets on Thursday 26 January and Friday 27 January to do a litter pick and identified several areas that needed looking at further.

Ruth Barnett, Area Service Manager, said: "The two litter picks were a great way to get involved in the community and drummed up lots of interest for people on the estate. We did it to help out the community, identify fly and generally give the area a tidy up.”

The Sheffield team is looking at doing another big tidy up in the summer so watch this space.

We are also planning more tidy ups across Lincolnshire especially in rural areas. If you want to get involved in our next big tidy up contact marketing@acisgroup.co.uk.
