About Grange Barn
Opening: 2026
Occupying the expansive grounds of Grange House, sits Grange Barn — a beautiful blend of a stable block, an orangery and three acres of green space. This unique setting holds enormous potential for horticultural activities, wellbeing programmes and social inclusion. It also provides opportunities to enhance local ecology and support the wider environment.
The former stable blocks are being transformed into flexible, multi-use spaces for training, community groups and skills development. Grange Barn is a space that will evolve with the needs of its community.
As part of Grange Barn we have also utilised the expansive outbuildings and outdoor space of Grange House to create a local farm, providing a wealth of education, learning and wellbeing opportunities for people, including small animal care and horticulture.
Produce grown on the farm, by those supporting and benefitting from the Grange Barn, will be delivered super-fresh to Grange Café or sold on the weekly market in the local market square or in the Hub, providing further skills for local people around the preparation of produce and sales.
Across this site we are able to offer vocational learning and progression within care, support, housing, small animal care and horticulture.
