About Grange House
Opens: Spring 2026
At the heart of our vision is independence, dignity and confidence — embodied in Grange House, a cluster of ten purpose-built supported living apartments in a stunningly converted Grade II-listed building, formerly known as Market Rasen House.
These homes give people the chance to live fully and flourish, with the right support wrapped around them 24 hours a day. Grange House represents a future where people are empowered, connected and able to thrive in a place they are proud to call home.
Working with our partners Lincolnshire County Council and West Lindsey District Council, the sympathetic conversion is made possible through investment from Homes England through the Affordable Homes Programme.
Key features:
- A carefully restored Grage II-listed building, retaining as many original features as possible but now given a new lease of life to continue making a difference to people’s lives for many years to come
- A safe home with all the support needed to help people to thrive. Further benefiting from close access to the town, local transport and community
- A care farm right on the door step, offering opportunities for social interaction, learning and enjoyment
Grange House- a history restored
The historic Market Rasen building dates back to 1891, when it was built for Dr. George Barton. Originally known as Market Rasen House or The Grange, it has a strong history of providing care and accommodation for local people. After it was sold by the Grange family in 1950, the iconic building was converted in to a children’s home by the local authority, before being extended and transformed into a home to support 16-25 year-olds in the mid-1990s.
Now a Grade II listed building we’re proud to restore it to its former glory, embracing its unique history and care heritage in Market Rasen.
