Many of our customers go through difficult times – maybe being independent for the first time, living with a disability or even struggling financially. In such cases often a little extra support can make a big difference. That’s where our Supporting Foundations service comes in.  

We’re here to focus on you – as a person, as a household, as a family, and as a community. So you don’t have to face issues alone.  

We offer a wide range of support to all our customers. Our friendly team will work with you to create a personalised action plan that will help you work towards your goal.

We are currently delivering a one-year programme scheme called Acistance to help people in Lincolnshire access much-needed support.  

The programme gives people in two areas of the county – people living in the Trent and East Lindsey Primary Care Network areas, helping people in towns and villages like Gainsborough, Saxilby, Bardney, Louth and Market Rasen. 

Support is available through a mix of wellbeing interventions, such as one-to-one sessions, social engagement events and group workshops, designed to help increase confidence, self- esteem and general wellbeing. 

Participants get confidential time to talk through anything troubling them, regular opportunities to meet new people and chances establish new lines of support. 

It is funded through Shine Lincolnshire’s Community Asset Development Fund in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council and Lincolnshire NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.
